Pond/Pondless Cleaning and other yearly maintenance is crucial to the health and beauty of your Orlando, Central Florida (FL) backyard pond and pondless waterfall water feature.



All customers receive a custom price quote for their clean out or water feature maintenance.
Please complete the Pond/Pondless Cleaning Profile (Below) so we can familiarize ourselves with your pond/pondless and to give you an accurate Spring/Fall cleaning price.




Annual Spring/Fall pond/pondless cleaning will ensure your Orlando, Central Florida (FL) ecosystem pond or water feature is healthy and looking good.

Pond Pros of Central Florida offers two levels of spring/fall maintenance:
Full pond/pondless cleaning and a partial pond cleaning.

The Full Pond Cleaning Includes:
  1. Draining the pond down to six inches in depth.
  2. Removing the fish and placing them in large containers with original pond water.
  3. Draining the remainder of pond and power washing the pond, stream and waterfall.
  4. Removing debris from the pond bottom.
  5. Cleaning all filter pads, bioballs, biofall unit, skimmer and pump as needed.
  6. Cleaning all light lenses and inspecting for burned out bulbs.
  7. Making necessary minor adjustments to rocks if needed.
  8. Trim off dead/overgrown plant material.
  9. Adding a dechlorinator if needed and start the filling the pond again.
  10. Re-introducing the fish into the pond.



Note: The large majority of debris is removed from the pond. If the pond is “sterilized” by removing ALL living bacteria etc…the established eco system will be destroyed.
Benefical Bacteria MUST be added to the pond Daily for 2 weeks to balance and support a healthy eco system. Bacteria is then added weekly to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

The Partial Pond Cleaning Includes:

  1. Removing and cleaning all filter pads, bioballs, and nets or baskets.
  2. Completely draining and vacuuming the biofalls.
  3. Re-installing all the above and restarting the pond.


Pondless Cleaning Includes:
  1. Completely drain and vacuum the basin.
  2. Power wash the stream and waterfall
  3. Cleaning all light lenses.
  4. Making necessary minor adjustments to rocks if needed.
